MacGregor has sold the majority shares of Woodfield Systems Ltd.
Woodfield offers onshore loading customers marine loading arms for fluid transfer of crude oil, refined products, chemicals LPG and LNG. Due to the different clientele, Woodfield has been a stand-alone brand within MacGregor. Read the press release here.
Woodfield Systems ambient marine loading arms range from 4” to 20” dia. and are designed for transferring crude oil, refined products, slurries, chemicals and LPG. The equipment can cover operating temperatures from -50°C to +200°C.
• Woodfield marine loading arms can be operated as manual, lever-hydraulic or electro-hydraulic with either trailing lead or wireless remote control.
• Woodfield loading arms, although normally fixed in one jetty position, can be mounted on movable trailers or rail tracks to provide dockside flexibility.
• Manual or hydraulic quick connect/disconnect couplers (QC/DC) are available for the full range of loading arms. An emergency release system (ERS) is also available as part of a sequence controlled “shut down”.
• Woodfield ambient swivels are well proven within the industry and are fully compliant with the OCIMF Design & Construction Specification for marine loading arms. In addition to being used within marine loading rms the swivels are also used in offshore loading systems.
