Efficiency from shore-to-ship-to-shore

RoRo pontoon linkspans allow RoRo vessels and RoPax ferries to berth safely at quays that are otherwise unsuitable because of their size and shape and/or tidal conditions. Berths can also be created at sites without regular quay facilities.

MacGregor floating pontoon linkspans are independent of ship's trim and tidal conditions. By linking the ship to the shore, the linkspan provides smooth and efficient loading and discharging, reducing the turnaround time in port.

MacGregor floating pontoon linkspans are tailor-made to suit your specific requirements. We offer turnkey solutions which includes the design, manufacturing and installation.

Early in the design process we offer preliminary studies and engineering services. MacGregor equipment is then supplied as an integrated solution based on ship types and stern ramp configurations, cargo type, space limitations, loadings, shipping routes, logistic factors and environmental conditions.

Electric or hydraulic operation
Electric and hydraulic operating machinery is becoming simpler and safer with increased redundancy. We will help you choose the best machinery for your needs, all built according to highest local and international safety requirements.
