The chain stopper is a ratchet type that closes automatically during pull-in. The ratchet can be opened hydraulically or mechanically during chain pay-out.
The design greatly reduces relative motion between the chain link restrained in the stopper and the exit link.
- Minimal chain wear
- Compact design - low weight
- Low installation and maintenance costs
- Custom design for variable chain size/quality
- Tension measuring in integrated chain stopper
- Reduces topside deck weight
