Crew training in selfunloading systems
The technical competence centre for selfunloading systems is located in Enköping, Sweden, where the first cement selfunloading system was designed over 65 years ago. The centre works in close cooperation with MacGregor's branch offices in 30 countries to offer local service for customers around the world.
It is important that your crew understands how to operate and maintain MacGregor selfunloading systems installed on your ship. It maximises the product’s lifetime, reduces wear and improves its operating efficiency and safety. We offer training courses at our training centre in Enköping, Sweden, or at a location decided by you.
Training sessions consist normally of three full days of training. Tailored training can be arranged at request. All our training courses are focused on system and component knowledge. Theoretical training in a class room is combined with practical workshop training.
The theoretical part of the training session includes mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance and spare parts, function description, trouble-shooting as well as normal and emergency operation. The practical part consists of hands-on training and trouble-shooting of different components. A visit on board one of your ships will complement the training session.
