I’m Daniela Bergholm and I joined MacGregor in 2023 as HRD Trainee, while finishing my Masters degree in Sociology. Since then my journey has continued at MacGregor in the role of HRD Specialist, with a finished Masters degree in Social Sciences.
It has been a journey of change, learning and growing with the company. From starting out as a part of Cargotec to the journey of becoming a standalone MacGregor.
I’ve always enjoyed communicating with people and trying new things and in my role at MacGregor, I’ve been able to do both. From working with the exciting company culture and further implementation of it to creating new initiatives, like our Wellbeing at work concept, and now, once again, our Annual Step Challenge in May.
In my role I’m fortunate enough to get to work on a Global level on topics concerning all of MacGregor from our Leadership development initiatives to our Employee Engagement journey.
The support of my peers, and especially our Helsinki office, has been one of the greatest joys of working at the company. Having a line manager who supports you and places trust in your abilities, the way Lotta Seikkala-Tierala does, is not a given, however it is the cornerstone of my growth and development as an HR Professional.
I’m grateful for my time at MacGregor so far and I look forward to all that is to come in the future.
