Hello, my name is Nataliya and I joined MacGregor from Cargotec in 2023. Before joining the MacGregor sourcing team, my daily work with suppliers in Cargotec Finance provided me with the necessary experience and confidence to become familiar with their operations and specifics.
The connections I built with other teams—such as those requesting quotes, the purchasing department, and logistics—created a solid foundation for better collaboration when I eventually joined Sourcing.
My transition to this team was somewhat surprising, yet logical. As we know, any delay is critical in the spare parts business and requires a lightning-fast response to resolve the issue. For a year and a half, I participated in a project helping the Finance, Purchasing and Sourcing departments improve our relationships with suppliers.
My role as a bridge between the various teams in the company led to a positive final result and I was asked to become a member of the Sourcing team. How could I refuse such an offer? It is an honor and a pleasure for me to work with such professionals.
