Hi, I’m Agnieszka, 33 years old, and I’ve had the pleasure of working at MacGregor for almost 6 years. My journey started as a Purchaser for 3 years, but I felt the urge to explore more and gain a broader understanding of the supply chain. So, I took the leap and joined the Quotation team to learn from a different perspective.
Fast forward to November 2024, and I proudly became the Cargo Access Solutions Spare Part Center Team Leader! π
Before joining MacGregor, I worked in the fashion industry, which is a world completely different from the maritime business. My engineering background from the University of Technology prepared me for the challenges ahead. MacGregor gave me the incredible opportunity to grow and develop, and for that, I’m truly grateful. π
Throughout my time at MacGregor, I’ve learned one powerful lesson: A Team Leader is only as strong as the team they lead. People are the true foundation of this company, and my role is to empower, inspire, and support each person so they can excel in their roles. Everyone brings something unique to the table, and together we can achieve so much more than as individuals. The success of MacGregor depends on each and every one of us, and I am fully committed to making sure every member of my team feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. πͺπ
A special thanks to my previous Team Leaders - Marta Mikulska, Agata Ostaszewska, Tomasz Ε»urowski, who guided me along the way. Their leadership and support have been invaluable, and I’ve learned so much from them. π
I would also like to thank my current boss, Karri Väisänen, for giving me the chance to step into this role. Karri is a true inspiration to me, and his people-care approach is extraordinary. His leadership has had a tremendous impact on me, and I’m so grateful for his support and guidance. π
