In order to reduce the number of personnel needed on shore during the mooring operation, the semi automatic bollard has been designed to operate as a vertical telescopic moving bollard that can be tilted against the ship’s hull.
The semi automatic bollard system consists of hydraulically operated vertical telescopic arm including a tilting cylinder and tiltable bollard, electric control system, hydraulic system and control panel erected on a rigid steel frame. The bollard is operated by radio control from the winch deck for easy mooring from the vessel.
